Whitland Classic Motor Club

Whitland Classic Motor Club was formed in August 2008 following a meeting of interest at The Fishers Public House in Whitland. The meeting was well attended with the first outing being held at Whitland Carnival August 2008. The ethos behind the club is to hold as many runs as possible during the year and enjoy our classic vehicles.

Meetings are held at 8.00pm on the last Thursday of every month at the Whitland Rugby Football Club, Social Club, King Edward Street, Whitland. The Club already has over 40 members and covers the Carmarthenshire and Pembrokeshire area of South West Wales.

The Club’s Annual Dinner was held at ‘Nant y Ffin Hotel, Llandisilio on Saturday 4th February 2017.
A lovely evening was had by all with the staff making us very welcome, the food, as usual, was first class and service second to none.

Music for the evening was supplied by Tom Windsor, who was excellent, and kept us entertained till well after our usual bed-time!!   Well done Tom and thank you.
To all our members who attended, 37 in number, (slightly less than last year due mainly to the onset of the dreaded flu bug), a very big thank you; your outstanding generosity with donation of prizes to our raffle resulted in an amazing sum of £130.00 being raised.
Another very successful social evening.
Our next event is being planned for the beginning of March, this being a Sunday lunch run; full details to be revealed at our next club meeting on Thursday 23rd February 2017.
Our first Charity Bingo Night has already been arranged for Friday 24th March 2017, the venue being Whitland Rugby Club, King Edward Street, Whitland, commencing at 7.30pm.
Cash prizes and all proceeds going to our current chosen charity ‘Macmillan Nursing’.
Everyone welcome- please come along for a fun and hopefully profitable evening.
